The Difference Between Cooling Pump And Freezing Pump

Jan 04, 2022

Both refrigeration pumps and cooling pumps are classified as water circulation systems, but they are quite different. The detailed distinctions are as follows:

The choice of water pump requires two parameters: flow and head, so the distinction between refrigeration pump and cooling pump is also based on this.

1. Refrigerated pump: All water systems will use a chilled water pump, such as water-cooled screw, air-cooled screw, and air-cooled module; the chilled water pump is connected to the return pipe of the chilled water. Chilled water pump: L(m3/h)=Q(kW)/(4.5~5) degrees Celsius x1.163. Chilled water pump head: the two resistances on the pipe wall in the cooling system (the resistance along the way and the local resistance), the pressure drop of the unit's volatizer, and the pressure drop of the final equipment.

2. Cooling pump: It is used for water cooling unit system. For example, a water-cooled screw. The cooling pump is installed between the cooling tower and the water-cooled unit. Cooling pump: The flow is in accordance with the water flow of the unit condenser, which is usually 1.2 times of the water flow of the unit condenser. Cooling pump head: condenser resistance, pipeline resistance and local resistance, height difference of cooling tower.
