Volkswagen engine model complete, how about Volkswagen engine
EA111 series
Volkswagen's EA111 was first used in Audi brand models in the 1970s. Before EA211 was launched, EA111 was always the main force of Volkswagen's small displacement models. This series of engines incorporate advanced technologies such as in-cylinder direct injection and turbocharging, and have the performance advantages of small displacement, high power, and low fuel consumption. Currently, the models equipped with 1.4TSI engines include Golf, Sagitar, Magotan, and LaVida.
EA211 series
The EA211 engine is a modified version of the EA111 and was launched at the Geneva International Motor Show in 2012. The engine series includes three-cylinder and four-cylinder products. The first model equipped with this series of engines is the Volkswagen UP. Due to the cylinder shut-off system used on the four-cylinder engine, its economical fuel performance has been praised by consumers. The models equipped with EA211 engine include Bora, Sagitar, Magotan, Lavida, etc. Although the power is different due to tuning, they are all from the same platform.
EA113 series
The EA113 is an eight-valve engine, which means that there are two valves per cylinder: one in and one out. From a technical perspective, the EA113 lags behind the 16-valve EA111. The biggest feature of the EA113 engine is that it uses a cast iron cylinder block, which is strong and durable. Currently, there are new Bora on the market, Lavida, POLO, and Golf are equipped with EA113 series engines.
EA888 series
The EA888 engine has a very important position for the Volkswagen Group. Its penetration rate is very high. Almost all 1.8TSI and 2.0TSI models of various brands under the Volkswagen Group, including Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, and Seat, are equipped with this engine. EA888 is already the third-generation model since its development. Perhaps the most impressive thing is the second-generation EA888 that became famous for "burning engine oil", but the latest generation of EA888 has overcome this common problem.
EA390 series
Since it is an imported engine, you may be a bit unfamiliar. EA390 is a VR6 naturally aspirated engine series, with different displacements of 3.0L, 3.2L, 3.6L, etc. It adopts direct fuel injection technology, 4 valves per cylinder, and the engine angle is very small (only 10°-15°), and the structure is compact . The Volkswagen Touron is equipped with an EA390 engine.
