The internal winding of the fan motor is generally composed of a running winding, a starting winding and a speed regulating winding. It is under the action of AC 220V voltage, the starting winding series capacitor changes the phase difference between the starting winding and the running winding current by 90 degrees. , So that the motor can start to run, and the speed of the motor can be adjusted by changing the tap position of the running winding. The fan motor generally has 5 external leads, which are distinguished by different colors. In most cases, the black line is the common lead, the red line is the high-speed line, the white line is the medium-speed line, the blue line is the low-speed line, and the yellow is the starting capacitor line. In addition, some motor shells are also connected with a yellow-green protective grounding wire.

The measurement of the fan motor is to use the multimeter Rx100 block to measure whether the resistance of the internal windings is normal. The specific operation method is to connect the common lead of the motor with the black test lead and the red test lead to measure other leads. Under normal circumstances, the resistance value between the windings should be slightly different. Generally, the resistance value of the motor windings of floor-standing electric fans and desktop electric fans is about 700Ω between the black wire and the red wire, and the resistance between the black wire and the white wire The resistance value is about 900Ω, the resistance value between the black line and the blue line is about 950Ω, and the resistance value between the black line and the yellow line is about 1.5kΩ. The resistance value of the winding of the Hongyun fan motor is about 1kΩ between the black wire and the red wire, the resistance value between the black wire and the white wire is about 1.1kΩ, and the resistance value between the black wire and the blue wire is about 1.2kΩ. The resistance between the wire and the yellow wire is about 2kΩ. If the resistance of a certain winding is infinite or zero, it means that the motor winding is open or short-circuited.
